This book isrecommended reading by Marsha Linehan, Ph.D., the founder and developer of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). It is especially helpful for those who have not been trained behaviorally.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to identify and write behavioral objectives using the DBT treatment hierarchy. Participants will also have an opportunity to develop creative behavioral treatment strategies using the principles of reinforcement, shaping, and stimulus control which are an integral part of DBT.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs), 2 per meeting, pending approval for MFTs and LCSWs.
